Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CREO CAD Instructor to support a leading Heavy Truck OEM in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating a smooth transition for engineering teams moving from Catia V5 to PTC Creo Parametric. This role requires strong technical expertise in CAD platforms, effective teaching capabilities, and a hands-on approach to user support and coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, in-person training sessions for engineers transitioning from Catia V5 to PTC Creo Parametric.
• Provide on-site coaching, mentorship, and technical assistance to ensure user proficiency and confidence.
• Develop high-quality training materials, quick-reference guides, and user documentation.
• Offer ongoing support to CAD users post-training to reinforce skills and address issues.
• Coordinate with engineering and IT teams to ensure alignment with CAD standards and system requirements.
• Monitor user progress and gather feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
• Promote best practices in CAD modeling and data management throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience delivering in-person training and user support for CAD tools in a professional engineering environment.

Deep proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric; familiarity with Catia V5 is strongly preferred.

Solid understanding of CAD standards, design principles, and engineering workflows.

Knowledge of product development processes and engineering system integration.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with engineering professionals.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in mechanical or automotive engineering.

Experience working with heavy truck or automotive OEMs.

Familiarity with PLM systems such as PDMlink, Windchill or ENOVIA.
