Job Title: Field Service Technician

Direct Hire Role with Benefits

Location: Norcross, Georgia

*this role requires 50% travel and the other 50% is at the facility in Norcross.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and flexible Technician to join our team in Norcross, Georgia. In this role, you will work in a small, dynamic team, providing both remote and onsite support for our automation systems. This role is customer-oriented and project-driven, requiring excellent communication skills and adaptability to meet specific client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare machines for factory acceptance testing (FAT)
  • Prepare machines for shipping and ensure all components are securely packed.
  • Assemble and set up automation lines for customers.
  • Perform test runs on machines to ensure proper functionality and quality.
  • Provide remote support for machines in the field.
  • Offer phone/email support to customers throughout the US.
  • Provide feedback to the R&D department to improve product development.
  • Develop and compose user manuals and step-by-step maintenance procedures.
  • Provide onsite technical support during machine installation and setup.
  • Install equipment at customer facilities.
  • Conduct machine training for customers to ensure proper usage and maintenance.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on machines in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of automation and electrical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in software tools like MS Office; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Hands-on technical approach and willingness to work directly with technology.
  • Eagerness to continuously learn, improve skills, and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the US (and internationally, when required).
  • Must be able to obtain a passport for international travel.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
