About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.
Translate raw data into interactive and intuitive reports to drive business insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and quality.
Develop and optimize Power BI data models (Star Schema/Snowflake) and DAX queries.
Implement security and access controls within Power BI and datasets.
Publish and schedule reports and dashboards using Power BI Service.
Continuously improve and enhance existing reports and BI solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.
Experience with SQL and data transformation (Power Query/M Language).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
Experience working with various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).
Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SSRS) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Microsoft Power BI certification is an advantage.
