The Process Business Sales Manager will develop and lead the Architect and Construction (A&E) Vacuum group ultimately consisting of direct A&E Sales Specialists and distributors dedicated to the Process Industries. The Process Business Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and driving the growth of the EPC division.
The role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development within the A&E Process Industry sector.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the Business Development process to get new A&E business/normal contracts. (CIVIL works, Mechanical Works, PEB structural) and to achieve individual objectives to reach organizational goals.
• Develop and execute new business development strategies
• Develop and execute a solid account management plan with selected A&Es/clients for contracts • Convert opportunities into orders by leading /coordinating internal and external efforts across multiple regions.
• Working with application and engineering experts, develop project specific value driven solutions involving complex technical equipment.
• Build extensive industry contacts, and foster positive relationships with all levels of an organization
• Ensure prequalification with existing and new A&E/clients/architects, to enable us to be in a position to bid for A&E projects/ normal item-wise contracts.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence for A&E projects and opportunities.
• Work closely with Engineering Pursuit Team to qualify leads and develop business strategies, to win A&E projects/Contracts
• Collaboration with internal engineering, project management, and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, aligning business development efforts with company capabilities and customer expectations.
• Understand company needs and assist in the development of project solutions addressing these needs and thereby creating opportunities to achieve desired objectives.
• Provide feedback to management based on market information, thereby enabling organization investment decisions to improve our strategic leverage for future projects.
• Develop a good rapport with all leading architects/consultants. Empanel with them to get enquiries.

To undertake ad-hoc project work as required.
Educational requirements:
• University degree (Bachelor/Masters) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience requirements:
• Extensive experience working directly within an A&E environment, leadership positions a plus
• At least 14 years of solid business development, key accounts management experience with A&E projects/clients/architects
• Proven record of developing and growing a high performing team
• Sales of technical equipment in demanding/regulated industries (O&G, Chemical, Pharma, etc)
• Acquisition of tenders in mechanical and process turnkey projects
• Strong business/market knowledge and industry network with Architect, Consultant, and corporate hierarchy with a proven business acquisition track record.
• Proven success in creating and executing A&E business development strategy successfully from scratch.
• Excellent negotiating and closing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects, working with internal and external personnel to meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn and use new business and technical software, including customer document submittal portals.
• Ability to understand the general technical aspects of the products being sold.
• High proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
