Direct Hire Opportunity – Production Supervisor

Location: Lynwood, CA

Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 per year

A well-established and growing manufacturing company in Lynwood, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor to support its expanding operations. Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, coaching team leads, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and meeting production goals. This role will play a key part in managing personnel and driving operational efficiency during either the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including OTC pharmaceutical production
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Strong working knowledge of FDA cGMP, GDP, and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with filling/production processes and manufacturing equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Compounding departments
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, direct, and support production personnel and team leads to achieve shift goals
• Monitor KPIs and production performance to ensure targets are met
• Collaborate with QA to resolve quality issues related to components or finished goods
• Work with Planning to manage scheduling and component availability
• Ensure efficient use of labor resources, including oversight of temporary workers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Provide support in the absence of the Shift Lead/Supervisor
• Respond to and process deviation reports, time-off requests, and incident documentation
• Enforce company policies professionally and consistently
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
