"We are seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Watertown, New York, 13501. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."

Job Details:

• Shift: 8hr Days; (8am-4:30p)

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Weekly Pay Rate: $2,720 - $2,960

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the treatment plan developed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Operate radiation equipment such as linear accelerators, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to deliver precise doses of radiation.
• Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.

Requirements:

• NY LICENSE IS REQUIRED
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience. REQUIRED
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as Radiation Therapy (T)
• Current BCLS certification.

Note:

• Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 60 miles.
