Description Are you a detailed and driven accounting professional with a passion for the construction industry? Key Responsibilities + Preparing accurate and timely journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. + Managing the General Ledger and maintaining records for construction projects, including job costing and revenue recognition. + Collaborating with project managers and other departments to track budgets and expenses. + Analyzing and reconciling accounts such as accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll. + Handling month-end and year-end close processes. + Supporting audits, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance as needed. + Continuously identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial operations. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred. + Minimum of 3+ years as a Staff Accountant, preferably with experience in the construction industry or related project-based accounting. + Strong understanding of GAAP principles, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting. + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and strong technical aptitude. + Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities. + CPA or working toward CPA designation is a plus.
