Job Description

This temporary assignment is expected to start in June, and is expected to last approximately 12-14 weeks.

LICENSING

-Facilitator- Licensed Partners

• Main point of contact for all licensed partners
• Run scheduled meetings as needed (i.e monthly Disney tb, Biweekly KS tb, etc)
• Work with cross functional teams on any request from licensed partners (i.e design team for artwork requests, sales team for any account specific requests, etc)
• Work with design on product development approvals for licensed out partners on each step- concept, sample, packaging, final product

-Request for Artwork

• Point of contact to internal teams (Marketing, Design, Creative etc) and external teams (Licensees).
• Responsible for obtaining artwork from the Licensor/Artist, as requested by internal teams.
• Responsible for obtaining artwork from our internal design team, as requested by the Licensees, and facilitating the artwork to the Licensee via Media Bank.

-Licensing Business Projects

• Licensing-In: Responsible for completing projects/spreadsheets for Licensors, i.e. The annual Dr. Seuss business review power point, Forecasting as requested, Retail order placement report, etc.
• Licensing-Out: Responsible for completing projects/spreadsheets for Licensees, under the direction of the CMO, for existing Licensees and/or potential new Licensees, i.e. A Lenox Corporation business overview etc.

-Meeting Recaps

• Upon request and with the CMO, attend licensing business meetings and take copious notes relating to all meeting details.Within 2 days following the meeting a clear and concise meeting recap, facilitated via email to all internal and external parties, shall be published ensuring all discussion points, final decisions, action points etc are addressed.

-Licensing Agreements

• Contract Summaries

Responsible for reviewing the agreement thoroughly and completing a contract summary ensuring the pertinent business details which need to be provided to the Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Compliance teams are pronounced in a clear and concise manner. Publish via email to all appropriate company-functions when complete.

• Record Keeping

File a hard-copy and electronic-copy in the licensing files of the agreement, summary, and any other related materials.

COMPLIANCE

-FAMA (Facility And Merchandise Authorization)

• Responsible for completing and submitting FAMA’s to the appropriate Licensor, along with the approved supplier audit.
• Communicate to internal teams (Sourcing, Global Compliance Team etc) when a Licensor has awarded a FAMA. Facilitate filing the document, hard-copy and electronic-copy, in the licensing files.

-ILS/Compliance Reporting

• Responsible for submitting ILS/Compliance audits & related forms (i.e. Tapestry in-take forms) for current contracts and new, if contractually obligated.

Must Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• 2 years of experience in licensing or account management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail plus strong communication and interpersonal skills and a history of success in a team environment
• Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, collaborative, but able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
• Strong Presentation Skills
