We are looking for an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to support our Grand Prairie , TX manufacturing facility. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. We are looking for a candidate that feels comfortable applying Lean manufacturing improvements, sophisticated process changes, and technology changes including process development, training, support production team on proper methods of assembly and propose improvements to build processes. They will design, procure, and validate fixtures, tools, and shop aides.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Supporting process development, improvements, and validations during the production of our products to ensure quality, cost, and efficiency requirements are met. This position investigates problems, conducts root cause analysis, and takes corrective action.
  • Being responsible for the research, purchase, and implementation of new/upgraded equipment (to include the implementation of digitalization and digital processes).
  • Assures specific quality guidelines are met and, if vital, takes appropriate actions to correct problems. Reduces scrap and waste opportunities for increasing capacity
  • Leads, develops and coordinates departmental improvements projects and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyzes data to identify root causes of defects and implements appropriate countermeasures
  • Identifies processes and equipment implementations to improve quality and productivity
  • Manages improvement projects that may require capital expenditures, contractors, cost savings calculations, CAD design and physical installation work

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 1- 2 years experience in a Manufacturing environment as a professional or as an intern during college
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent technical drawing software
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Experience simulating manufacturing systems and processes
  • Ability to measure, design/specify and install fixtures and equipment
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis

  • The pay range for this position is $54,180 - $92,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
